145 Indian crew 160 miles off Mumbai demand sign off

Indian crew at Marella Discovery request Government authorities to arrange a sign off at Mumbai port.

The Crew ship which is anchored at 160 miles off Mumbai is scheduled to leave for Europe by this Wednesday afternoon. 145 out of the crew of 643 are Indian.

Requesting the Indian authorities to arrange them to leave the ship immediately the crew have declared that none of them have any symptoms of COCID- 19 Virus and submitted all their medical fit certificates to port authorities.

The cruise vessel captain considered to be okay with the Indian crews’ decision to not continue with their sailing. Marella discovery vessel has the passenger capacity of 2000 with 11 decks.
