Nearly 40 US Navy ships on board have had Coronavirus cases. All these ships are being held in ports or yards.

The vessels names and other details are unavailable. The navy is not disclosing details of the ships impacted or the exact number of cases because of the Defense Ministry polices. Currently there are totally 297 active duty US warships in the sea.

More than 4000 Navy personnel on the US Carrier ship Roosevelt had been moved ashore and were scheduled to start returning to the ship after finishing isolation period but that has been stopped because many sailors previously asymptomatic tested positive.
